Great Horned Owl-Strig
Good Experiences
-
Able to research enrichment projects for our American Crow Romeo and our owls; the enrichment projects for Romeo were approved by one of the Animal Care Heads; they are still used to this day
-
Enjoyed being up close and personal with all of the animals since you normally wouldn't be able to be that close if it were the wild
-
Being able to sit and take a break with some of the birds of prey like the Turkey and Black Vultures Aurora and Vlad and our Great Horned Owl Strig
-
Made connections with not only some of the animals, but also the employees that work there
Bad Experiences
-
Having to get close and personal with multiple species of cockroaches
-
Learning that not all animals will like you (aka Romeo)
